Our Hyper-Reality

Continuing our agenda to disrupt the broken fashion machine, we proudly present our latest, off-calendar collection.
Completely designed and manufactured in our in-house Brooklyn Factory, the collection is a collision of various inspirations from, and reactions to, our modern age.

Hyperreality is used in semiotics and postmodern philosophy to describe a hypothetical inability of consciousness to distinguish reality from fantasy, especially in technologically advanced postmodern societies.
Self Imposed Reality Check.
Our previous attempts to inject new thinking and practices into an existing, institutionalized fashion system have failed. We have come to the conclusion that our philosophy, methodologies and products are sound and it has been our desire to engage a flawed system, which has lead us astray.
We have proudly decided to disengage this broken system in an attempt to interact with our consumers directly and unfiltered.
We follow no season and no calendar, only our instincts and what we feel is appropriate and relevant.

MONFA

Monfa was born Miguel Cabrera 28 years ago in Costa Rica. After drawing his way through walls and school notebooks, he decided to make a living out of illustration. He studied Fine Arts and became an editorial illustrator. His work has been featured in various websites and digital magazines, and he has also participated on different illustration projects, both national and international. Currently working on many personal projects, he splits his time between his job as an Art Director for a prestigious mexican editorial company, freelancing, art collaborations and showcasing his artwork on his personal website.
